In addition to carrying on personal correspondence with your family, friends and colleagues, you can use your e-mail account to join a listserve (also called a mailing list). A Listserve / Mailing List is an on-going discussion of a specific topic by interested participants conducted entirely through the exchange of e-mail messages. New messages are automatically forwarded to all members subscribed to the listserve. Upon reading the latest message, Mailing List members have the option of responding only to the individual who added the message or to the entire mailing list.

A listserve has been established to facilitate whole-group communication between participants of this module. The listserve will be used by the online guide(s) to make general announcements of interest to the whole group. Course participants are encouraged to use the listserve to share information with the group and to seek assistance on topics related to the course. Your next assignment will be to subscribe to the Kings Canyon Unified School District listserve.

(Please note:  There is no charge for joining this group. "Subscribing" is just the technical term used to describe the process of joining the listserve. This listserve is hosted on Topica, a company which hosts free listserve groups in exchange for a small footer advertisement. You may view Topica's privacy policy on their website. If you are interesting in setting up your own listserve groups, you are invited to visit Topica at http://www.topica.com

Join the listserve now following these instructions.
