Another online communication tool available for your use is the Kings Canyon Unified School District Web Discussion Board. The Web Discussion Board will be used for ongoing discussion of topics that will be posted by the instructor, the online guides and your fellow course participants.

Unlike the messages sent to the Kings Canyon Unified School District listserve, messages posted on the Web Discussion Board will not be automatically resent to listserve subscribers. The Web Board postings will remain on the Web Board to stimulate future discussion. Users will not need to subscribe to view the Web Board postings.

You can access the Web Discussion Board by clicking on the Web Board link found at the top of all the webpages on the Kings Canyon Unified School District Staff Development website. Since your web browser will load the webpage from the cache memory and you may not be able to see recent postings to the web board, it will be necessary to click on the Reload button each time you visit to insure that you have the latest version of the web board directory screen.

The original topic will appear as a New Message on the web discussion board. You are invited to Post a Response to the discussion topic. The URL of a webpage related to the topic being discussed can be added at the bottom of the response screen.

As a requirement of course completion, you will be required to Post a New Message or Post a Response to an existing message. Record the date(s) on which you posted a Web Board message on your logsheet.
