Summary and Reflection

The activities in the World Wide Web module of this course have been designed to give you a glimpse of the some wonderful educational resources available on the Web. As you have no doubt already guessed, we have just skimmed the surface. New educational resources are appearing every day. This is such an exciting time to be an educator!

Note: This is a two part assignment.

Part 1

Take a few minutes to share some of the web resources you discovered when using the online search tools. Click on the link to the Web Discussion Board above or below. Navigate to the "Check These Out!" section of the discussion board and add your discoveries to the discussion thread.

If you include the entire web address beginning with http:// the web board software will create a live link to the websites you are sharing. Include a short description of the website. You can include all three resources in one "Add a Message" screen or you can use a separate "Add a Message" screen for each link.

Part 2

To conclude the module, share how the educational resources that you have found will enhance your ability to support your state curriculum content standards and how you plan to integrate these online resources into your classroom. Address your message to me <bjost@josts.net> and include the words "Summary and Reflections" in the subject of the message.

The last module on the course will introduce you to webpage design. You will discover how easy it is to create your own webpages and publish them on the web.
