SchoolNotes
Selecting
this option will allow you to create a class website using the free service
offered by EducationWorld (a
reputable online education service provider). You will not need to download
and
install additional software or learn HTML (webpage programming). All
the tools you need are located online.
- Navigate
to http://new.schoolnotes.com/
- Click
the "Showcase of Teacher SchoolNotes Pages" link
to see how other educators are using the SchoolNotes service.
- Note:
The free SchoolNotes service does not support the use of graphics.
Adding
graphics to your
page is not required for completion of this section of the
course. You do not need to feel obligated to upgrade to the subscription
service.
- Click
on the "About Us" link on the upper right side
of the screen for additional information.
- Click
on the "Teachers Register Here" link to register
and initiate your SchoolNotes account.
- Follow
the detailed instructions on the screen that appears. Be sure to record
the username and password you select for future reference.
- After
your SchoolNotes account is activated, click on the "Edit
Notes" link to modify your SchoolNotes webpage.
- To
complete the TEC 908 Webpage Design Module course requirements using
this option,
set up a "SchoolNotes" webpage personalized for your classroom.
You will find specific directions for creating and editing your
SchoolNotes page by looking for the Help link
on SchoolNotes edit screens.
- When
your SchoolNotes page is complete, proceed to the final Course
Completion assignment below.
