Scholastic Class Homepage Builder
Selecting this option will allow you to create a class website using
the free service offered by Scholastic (a
reputable educational publisher). You will not need to download and install
additional software or learn HTML (webpage programming). All the tools
you need are located online.
- Navigate
to
http://teacher.scholastic.com/homepagebuilder/
- Click
on the "See a Sample Page" link to view an example of the type of
page you can build with this free service.
- Click
on the "Online Tutorial" or "Printable User Guide" for detailed instructions
on how to use the service.
- If this
looks like something that you would be comfortable using, click on
the "Get Started" button to register. If you already have an account
with Scholastic, you may be able to use that.
- To
complete the TEC 908 Webpage Design Module course requirements using
this option,
set up a "Scholastic Class Homepage" personalized for
your classroom.
- When
your Scholastic Class Homepage is complete, proceed to the final Course
Completion assignment below.
