Google Sites
Google
offers a free web development service that works well for creating
a multiple page classroom website.
You
will need
to create
a
Google
account
to use the service. Google accounts are free and can be activated
in a matter of minutes. Take a look at the features offered by Google
Sites to see if it will meet your needs.
- Navigate
to http://sites.google.com
- Click
on the Create a site... link down on the
left side of the screen and view the Introduction to Google
Sites video.
- Explore
the Example Templates check out the Classroom example.
You could also use one of the other templates if that would better
meet your needs.

Center
for more information:

- If you
decide that a Google Site will meet your needs, click the
Sign in to Google Sites if you already have a Google Account.
- If you
do not already have a Google Account, click the Sign up for Sites
link to create one.
- Follow
the step-by-step directions to create your Google Site.
- Refer
to the Help files (see link above) for additional information and
assistance.
- Add content
appropriate for your classroom.
- Your
web page will be available online in minutes.
- When
your web page is complete, proceed to the final Course
Completion assignment below.
