Initializing the course digital logbook Course Update: July 2007 Use of a course floppy disk has been discontinued. So many course participants now have computers without floppy disk drives that delivering and working with the logbook in this format has become troublesome. The course digital logbook file is now available in multiple formats in the Course Support Documents section on the course web site. Try opening each of the formats and select the one that works best on your computer. Click here to download the course logbook. Enter your name and initialization date. Select Save As from the file menu and save the logbook to the tec912 folder that you created in your My Documents or Documents folder. You will use this digital logbook throughout the course to record your progress. You will use the digital logbook extensively in the Basic Searching and Advanced Searching modules of the course. Important Note: Remember to Save the Logbook file after each use! When you complete the course, you will send your digital logbook to your instructor as an email attachment.
