Export Bookmarks

If the steps below do not work with your version, check the web browser's help files. Click on the Bookmarks button (Hint: it has a Star and the word Bookmarks) and is located in the upper right corner of the browser window) and select the Show All Bookmarks option from the menu that appears. Navigate to the Import and Backup menu on this window. Select Export HTML. When the Save As dialog box appears, select the Desktop as the destination for the file. Now, change the default bookmarks.htm file name to your first initial followed by your last name (example: bjost.htm) Important Note: Use only lower-case letters. Do not use any spaces and be sure to include the .htm suffix. Save the renamed bookmarks file. Navigate to the desktop where you saved the exported bookmarks and open it. You should see your entire Bookmarks file displayed as a webpage on your screen. Clicking on the links should take you to the associated webpage. You will notice that this process exported your entire Bookmarks list. Most recent word processors can open and edit webpages. Give your's a try. Just be sure to save the edited Bookmarks list as a .htm (webpage) file. Check your word processor's help files for more information.
